Our Team
Vision Architects was established in 2012 (previously known as Property Passion) to provide architectural and interior design focusing on commercial, mixed use and high end residential projects. Our managing director previously established and operated the award winning commercial interior design business ID Interior Designers in 1991 which brings us to exceed 30 years in this design industry.
Our team consists of individuals with diverse fields of expertise focused on delivering quality design with a commercial mindset. Unlike conventional architectural offices we have access to Rp Data, Estate Master, Nearmap and other developer softwares to assist in our designs. We work closely with finance brokers, sales agents, marketing agents and suppliers of custom materials.
What we aim to bring to home owners and developers alike is improved value to property that is finished with durable, quality materials.
Our Office
As we work with different alternative materials and products, our office setting is within a casual industrial warehouse equipped with a functioning showroom, a forklift, occasional running children and Daisy our fur baby. You may find smells of fresh bread wafting through the functioning oven and the occasional buzz of the Nutribullet in the midst of heated design discussions. There is never a dull day in our close knit office.
Helena Farrell
Managing Director
Vision Architects is led by Helena Farrell, who has over 30 years’ experience in design, construction and project management. Since establishing her first design practice in 1991, Helena has worked continuously in commercial and residential architectural and interior design, successfully delivering projects, including apartment developments, residences, corporate offices, retail stores, shopping centres, hospitality venues, healthcare clinics, specialty access and NDIS accommodation. This extensive experience and broad knowledge enables Helena to make architectural design and construction decisions that create significant cost savings, whilst never compromising on the stunning architecture and functional design.
Helena’s technical excellence and meticulous attention to detail is equally matched by her personal property portfolio and acquired qualifications in construction and project management.
Helena is known as one of the most energetic, enthusiastic forces in our business. Close enough is not good enough, excellence is expected and delivered. She leads with heart and with a real generosity that inspires everyone collaborating with her across disciplines, sectors and markets.
In her personal time, Helena provides property and construction related education through podcasts and various property developer groups. On other days she is making ragu for her family and chasing after Daisy her fur baby.
Priscilla Khoo
Design Director
Priscilla Khoo is Vision Architect’s Principal Architect and Director.
Priscilla’s ability to work across design, planning, contract administration and delivery stages sets her apart from most architects and makes visionary projects a reality even In the tiniest lot and within strict site constraints. As a registered architect, Priscilla has worked across a diverse range of projects and sectors. With a thorough understanding of the design process and continually researching new concepts, materials and approaches, Priscilla ensures the client vision is thoroughly explored and every project is delivered beyond the client expectations.
Priscilla is also highly valued for her commitment to consultative approach with clients, key stakeholders, consultants and councils. Her eye for quality, attention to detail and design resolution ensures first-class outcomes for clients at every project stage.
In her personal time, Priscilla enjoys attending home opens and property auctions when she isn’t running after her two toddlers.
